Saturday Night Shout-Outs
It's Saturday night. Not going to mention s****l. not going to mention c*m. Taking the day off from that. There will be other days for that....like tomorrow.
This is to say thank you to a few people who have helped me...helped me just because of who they are. They didn't know me all that well (or at all) before they took my call or answered my email. Their time is highly sought after, but they always gave me all the time they had. When I had questions they listened and gave me their expert advice. They offered me opportunities to write for their audiences and build my credibility. They helped me land my first speaking engagements. They helped me (and Michael Thomas) get guests for the show, and were guests themselves. Heck, some even helped gave us money to start the show! They listened to my crazy ideas and didn't laugh (too much). They introduced me to industry leaders in such a way that I wondered if it was me they were talking about. They would offer help before I could even ask for it. In fact, they always ask how they can help me. And they did all of this without EVER asking for anything in return. NOT ONCE.
I can't think of anything I could have possibly done to deserve these kinds of people to "have my back", but I am sure honored to call them mentors, colleagues and most importantly friends.
I can't name them all, but thank you Paul, Michael, Ginger, Anita, Ramon, Peggy, Jeff, David, Diane, Rodney, Tom, Marilyn and Wanda. My life, professional and personal, is much better because of people like you.
